Kopmeiners has been a top target for Juventus in midfield since before the summer transfer window opened, having previously had a bid of €45m rejected as Atalanta held firm to their €60m asking price.

Juventus are expected to improve their offer for Atalanta to reconsider in the coming days, with the Bianconeri increasingly confident of having Kopmeiners as their main midfield man for the 2024-25 season.

In addition to selling Sule and Hojsen to Roma and Bournemouth respectively, Federico Chiesa is also being considered by Juventus, with a €30m asking price.

In addition, Adrien Rabiot’s previous rejection of a €7.5m-a-year contract saved Juventus money and paved the way for Kopmeiners to make a full move.
