Paul Pogba has had his doping ban reduced from four years to 18 months after successfully appealing to the Court of Arbitration for Sport. 

The 31-year-old midfielder is set to return to training in January 2025 and will be eligible to play again from March onwards.

However, the 2018 World Cup winner, who is still contracted to Juventus until the summer of 2026, is not in coach Thiago Motta’s plans and the club is trying to find a way to terminate the remaining contract.

The latest reports indicate that negotiations between Juventus and Pogba have progressed to an agreement to terminate the contract by mutual consent.

Previously, both parties did not agree on the same point, if Juve wanted to terminate the contract, they would have to pay compensation to Pogba, forcing them to negotiate again to separate on good terms and with the least financial damage. ( superwin636 )
