Brett Tesler, Raheem Mostert’s agent, said the Miami Dolphins are set to release the 32-year-old running back who spent three seasons with the Dolphins, along with tight end Durham Smith and cornerback Kendall Fuller, NFL Network reported. kindee1688
“It looks like my client Raheem Mostert will be playing elsewhere next season,” Brett Tesler, the 32-year-old’s agent, posted on social media. “Thank you so much for his time with the Miami Dolphins and giving them a chance to get a younger player and give him a chance to get a ring somewhere else.”
Mostert has rushed 475 times for 2,181 yards and 23 touchdowns over three seasons in Miami. He leads the NFL in rushing with 18 touchdowns in 2023, with 1,012 yards rushing. But the 32-year-old running back has seen a significant decline in 2024, rushing for just 278 yards and two touchdowns in 13 games as the Dolphins rely on Devon Eachen as their primary back.
The running back market is expected to be sluggish this year, and the 2025 draft still has many capable runners, but Mostert is likely to reunite with the San Francisco 49ers. ( kindee1688 )
