In terms of the top three scoring players, the ‘Greek Freak’ (863,416) is the most popular player among modern basketball fans, garnering 7,500 more votes than Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James (856,080) and nearly 50,000 more votes than third-place Kyrie Irving (802,834) of the Boston Celtics, who was an All-Star in the Eastern Conference.

Crossing over to the West Coast, Golden State Warriors mainstays Kevin Durant (767,402) and Stephen Curry (735,115) round out the top ten in fourth and fifth place.
The vote came after the 23-year-old forward’s impressive form, as he finished second in the league in scoring (29.1 points/game) and ranked in the top 20 in blocks, steals and rebounds.
