kindee1688 Landon Jackson believes he can be an instant part of the Buffalo Bills’ defense after being selected in the third round of the draft.

“I feel like I’m going to go in and play right away and show them that I’m a great option for them,” Jackson said. “I like the way they’ve got me planned. They’ve got me playing D-end, tech-5, wide-nine, so I’m excited to get on the field and be ready to play.”
Jackson played college at Arkansas, where he made a name for himself as one of the SEC’s standout pass rushers, logging 6.5 sacks against some of the nation’s top offensive linemen, including New York Giants quarterback Zach Jackson Dart, who was drafted 25th overall.
Bills general manager Brandon Beane said of Jackson: “Good character, strong DNA, strong athleticism, a lot of sacks, played against a lot of top players in the SEC and produced a lot. He knows how to rush. He has feel, instincts and awareness.”
The Bills bolstered their defense this offseason by signing Joey Bosa, Mike Hocht and Larry Ogunjobi from free agents. The Buffaloes then selected Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston in the first round, followed by South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders, Jackson, Kentucky defensive tackle Deion Walker and Ohio State cornerback Jordan Hancock. ( kindee1688 )
