Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has confirmed he is ready to play against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday despite reports the 22-year-old suffered a groin injury in practice Thursday, NFL Network reported Saturday. kindee1688
Smith-Schuster took to Twitter to tell his fantasy fans not to worry about the injury and that he will play Sunday against the Saints.
The Steelers’ sophomore wide receiver has had an AFC-leading 95 catches for 1,274 yards, sixth in the NFL, and six touchdowns.
Smith-Schuster’s confirmation gives the Steelers another weapon to contend with against the Saints in addition to wide receiver Antonio Brown, as running back James Conner is still struggling with an ankle injury and is unlikely to play Sunday. ( kindee1688 )
