At 35 years old, with an aging body and an NBA champion, KD is considering retirement. 

“In the NBA, I’m getting older every day, and the average age is getting younger. It makes us think about retirement more,” Durant said during a TVOSTV panel.

“Do you think about it or should I stop worrying about it? What’s the deal? But I admit that it’s definitely in my head.” 

The 17-year veteran player said that even after he retires from professional football, he still wants to be involved in the industry.

“Even after retiring, I still want to stay in the industry to see what’s happening.” 

“In the past 16-17 years, we have grown the league a lot. So even if we stop, we won’t go anywhere. I want to stay in the league for a while to think carefully about what to do next because it will be a very big transition period.” 

Last season, Durant played in 75 games, his most since 2018-19 , averaging 27.1 points , 6.6 rebounds , 5.0 assists and 1.2 blocks.
