The Carolina Panthers have agreed to a one-year deal with former Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Hunter Renfrow, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports. kindee1688
Renfrow was selected in the fifth round of the 2019 class and quickly became a key player for the Raiders in his first three seasons, developing into a smart slot wide receiver and making the Pro Bowl in 2021. But the 29-year-old wide receiver was a late-stage option under head coach Josh McDaniels and played limited time before being released after the 2023 season.
The 29-year-old wide receiver finished his Raiders career with 269 catches for 2,884 yards and 17 touchdowns in 73 games before the Panthers signed Renfrow to a one-year deal, though he won’t play through the 2024 season, with the hopes he’ll complement young quarterback Bryce Young.
The Panthers also bolstered Young’s firepower by selecting Arizona wide receiver Teitairoa McMillan with the eighth pick in the 2025 draft. ( kindee1688 )
