The 29-year-old forward was injured in the 125-115 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Dec. 4 (local time).  ( Kindee1688 ) 

The injury occurred with a minute remaining. The Pelicans’ attacking pass was given to Etowan Moore on the left wing. Steps tried to slide to intercept the pass but twisted his ankle and had to walk off the field to the bench. 

Curry misses 2 weeks for Warriors

A magnetic resonance imaging scan in North Carolina found no cracks or fractures, but the ‘Golden Bridge’ insists he wants the franchise player to rest for two weeks to be 100%. 

Curry is set to miss away games against Charlotte (Dec. 6), Detroit (Dec. 8), Portland (Dec. 11), Dallas (Dec. 14), and the LA Lakers (Dec. 18), but could be available for Memphis (Dec. 20).

Head coach Steve Kerr also has an additional headache as backup point guard Patrick McCaw (broken nose) and center Zaza Pachulia (left shoulder) remain 50/50 ahead of Wednesday’s game.
