Holmgren has been suffering from a fractured right hip for more than two months now, but his recovery is improving day by day, and he can now show up to cheer on his teammates on game day or even crawl into the locker room.  ( Kindee1688 )

“He came into our locker room on Tuesday to say he was ready for a morning stretch session with the guys,” he told The Oklahoman Sports.

“A guy like Chet Holmgren has been out of action for so long, it would be heartbreaking to put yourself in his shoes.”

“But when that guy comes back, I can imagine how it feels. Seeing that smile on his face again is really exciting.” 

Holmgren ‘s recovery timeframe is 8-10 weeks , and so far, it’s on track.
