Kodma168 Cook demands 15 million baht per year to renew contract

Kodma168 Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is asking for a salary of up to $15 million per year if he signs a new deal with the team.

James Cook, a 25-year-old running back, posted a message on Instagram Live and pinned his own message saying, “$15 million a year,” for a future contract extension with the Buffalo Bills, according to NFL Network. Kodma168

Cook, a former second-round pick in the 2022 draft, is entering the final year of his rookie contract, which will see him earn a base salary of $5.142 million, but asking for as much as $15 million a year to sign a new deal is unlikely, as it would be the second-highest salary in the league behind Christian McCaffrey, who is earning $19 million a year with the San Francisco 49ers.

While the Indianapolis Colts’ Jonathan Taylor ($14 million), Saquon Barkley ($12.583 million), Alvin Kamara ($12.25 million) and Josh Jacobs ($12 million) 

Cook has emerged as the Bills’ starting cornerback, surpassing 1,000 yards rushing in each of the last two seasons. He leads the NFL in rushing with 16 touchdowns and is fifth in rushing average at 4.9 yards per carry. 

If the Bills don’t meet Cook’s demand for a $15 million annual salary, the Buffaloes can trade the 26-year-old running back or opt for the 2026 tag, which would be worth around $13.629 million.  ( Kodma168 )
