Sactown Sports 1140 host Allen Styles believes the Sacramento Kings will trade 35-year-old guard DeMar DeRozan if they successfully sign free agent forward Jonathan Kuminga. 

Kuminga’s situation with the Golden State Warriors has been one of the most closely watched topics in the NBA this offseason, with the 22-year-old forward becoming a free agent amid interest from the Kings and Phoenix Suns, while the Warriors are also relentless in their efforts to bring the player back to the franchise.

“I believe there’s a partnership between DeMar DeRozan and the Sacramento Kings,” Styles said. “If Sacramento signs Jonathan Kuminga, the Kings will do their best to send DeRozan to another team.”

If the Kings sign Kuminga, it would likely have a domino effect, with Sacramento planning to trade DeRozan to the Miami Heat afterward, according to reports. Kodma168
