New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is still recovering from a hamstring injury and will miss three straight games at the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, ESPN reported Friday. Kodma168
OBJ has not practiced this week and just returned to training with trainers for the first time in weeks. The 26-year-old wide receiver will miss Sunday’s trip to the Colts but could return for the final week of action against the Dallas Cowboys.
“He’s getting closer,” Giants head coach Pat Shurmur said. “He’s doing more this week. He’s working more on the field. We’ll see what happens over the next couple of days.”
OBJ was injured on the final play of the loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on November 25 after being tackled in the leg by Eagles linebacker Kamu Grueir-Hill, and was fined $20,054 by the NFL. Although he forced himself to play in the upset win over the Chicago Bears, he suffered a re-injury and has not missed the past two weeks.
The Giants also have a number of injury concerns, with wide receiver Russell Shepard (ankle), linebacker Alex Ogletree (concussion) and center Spencer Palley (calf) all facing Sunday’s game against the Colts. ( Kodma168 )
