Ward, a former undrafted player in 2018, spent the first four years of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs before moving to the San Francisco 49ers in the 2024 season, where he combined for 114 tackles, 61 pass defenses and 10 interceptions, while allowing opponents to complete just 55 percent of their passes.
