“We tried to ask for a better understanding, but they still couldn’t give us a clear answer,” Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham told ESPN. “They couldn’t give us what we were looking for.”

The new rule states that a player will be penalized 15 yards and can be fined or ejected if his head is lowered while making contact with an opposing player’s helmet. Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said he and his team will be emphasizing the new rules in team meetings and on the field throughout training camp to help improve understanding.
