Seattle Seahawks rookie linebacker Shakem Griffin, the NFL’s first one-handed player, has received overwhelming support from fans after his No. 49 jersey became the fifth-best-selling jersey, ESPN reported Tuesday. kuiper999  

The Seahawks drafted outside linebacker Shachem Griffin, who was born with a rare condition called amniotic sac condition that required the removal of his left hand at age 4. But he fought his way through to become the NFL’s first non-32 player and has earned a huge following among fans as his No. 49 jersey became the fifth-best-selling jersey.

The top four best-selling jerseys were New York Giants running back Shaquon Barkley, Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, this year’s first overall pick, followed by New York Jets quarterback Sam Darnold and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen. 

Griffin’s No. 49 jersey is outselling Arizona Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, as well as other top draft picks in this year’s draft, including Denver Broncos defensive end Bradley Chubb and Browns cornerback Denzel Ward. ( kuiper999 )
