Wentz has been out since Dec. 10 with a torn ligament in his left knee, before backup quarterback Nick Foles stepped in to lead the Eagles to Super Bowl 52.

“I feel confident that the recovery is progressing at a rapid pace. It’s been great,” Wentz said Friday.

‘It’s hard to talk about schedules because injuries and schedules can always change depending on your availability.’

“But I feel very confident. I believe my goal is to be ready for week one. I’m going to try to do everything I can to get myself ready. I’m very confident in that,” the Eagles’ star quarterback said. ( kuiper999 )
