Bromley, who were promoted from the National League last season, have made a fine start to their League Two campaign with wins over Harrogate and AFC Wimbledon in their opening two games. ( hotfuns )
However, Andy Woodman’s side are without a win in their last five league games.
But the south London club are doing everything they can to strengthen their squad and hope the signing of a defender who has made one senior appearance for England will help.
That’s why Woodman has turned to former Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson, who has moved to Bromley on a permanent deal.
Although the transfer window closed on August 30, Bromley was able to secure a deal as Jenkinson is a free agent after leaving A-League side Newcastle Jets.
For Jenkinson, his first and only senior England cap came in 2012, when he came on as a substitute for Glen Johnson in a friendly against Sweden.
