Careers grow accordingly. Coming from a marketing background, Sanllehi was thrust into the position of director of professional football welfare at Barca, managing the back-office for superstar players between 2008 and 2018. 

Then he switched to working abroad, starting as Football Director at Arsenal, rising to the position of Head of Football Operations. Until there was a new structure and they parted ways in August 2020.
