‘Deario AS’ reported on Tuesday that Real Madrid has agreed to release Jose Luis Mato San Martin Joselu to play with Qatari club Al-Gharafa. for a fee of 1.5 million euros after completing his duties with the Spanish national team at Euro 2024 in Germany.  ( wilson88 )

Real Madrid brought Joselu from Espanyol on a one-year loan deal with an option to sign permanently for €1.5 million last summer. The 34-year-old forward was instrumental in the Whites’ success in winning La Liga and the Champions League after scoring 18 goals and providing 3 assists in 49 games played in all competitions. 

However, Joselu’s future remains unclear after Kylian Mbappe and Endrik Felipe are set to move in this July. Before the Whites confirmed that the 34-year-old striker would move to Qatari club Al-Gharafa this summer, 

According to reports, Real Madrid will trigger a permanent contract for Joselu worth €1.5 million before releasing the 34-year-old striker to Al-Gharafa for the same price. The player will sign a 2-year contract with an option for another year with the Qatari club and receive a salary of 8 million euros per season.
