Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes revealed during preparations for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos that he wanted to test the injury he sustained in his right ankle in the win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ESPN reports.

“When you have a little injury, it hurts a little bit,” Mahomes said. “But I was able to move and I’m looking forward to going out there and practicing and seeing how I can push it in the coming weeks.” 

As Chiefs coach Andy Reid said the team will not limit Mahomes’ practice time as it prepares for Sunday’s Week 10 game against the Mustangs. 

“That’s all you can do,” Mahomes said. “It’s late (after Monday Night), but after the game, you have to set up some things in the training room after the game, then set up some things to take home and put in there, some things you can do throughout the night to keep the swelling down, etc.”  ( thaisiambet )
