Superheng1688  Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn remains optimistic after 4-1 defeat to Spurs, saying the team lost to Tottenham Hotspur by the same scoreline last season but finished in the Premier League in a higher position. Superheng1688 

“We have to keep our cool and look at the big picture. A lot of teams have come here and suffered defeat,” the Aston Villa captain said.

“It was very loud, probably the loudest I’ve ever heard as an away player.”

“It’s about being positive. Spurs beat us 4-1 last season and we finished above them.”

“They punished us for our mistakes. We had a chance to equalise when it was 2-1. The third was a mistake, then a great free kick for the fourth goal.” ( Superheng1688  )
