Mundo Deportivo reported on Sunday that a number of La Liga clubs are monitoring Julian Araujo’s situation and could make a move for the Barcelona Mexican full-back this summer, with Sevilla, Girona and Real Betis all likely to make an approach. ( wintime999 )

Araujo returned from Las Palmas after a loan spell but the 22-year-old full-back failed to impress under Hansi Flick and was not involved in Saturday’s 2-1 Clasico win over Real Madrid, sparking speculation over his future at the club. 

The chances of Araujo staying at the club are slim, according to the report, especially if Barcelona succeed in re-signing Joao Cancelo from Manchester City. Flick also has Jules Kounde and Hector Fort as options for the position. 

Girona, Sevilla and Real Betis are all keeping a close eye on Araujo’s situation and could be tempted to bring the Mexican full-back on loan this summer.
