( moodeng )Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed star striker Chris Wood will miss Saturday’s FA Cup trip to Brighton. moodeng
Wood had just finished helping New Zealand secure a place at the 2026 World Cup during the international break, but was injured in the 3-0 win over New Caledonia in the final.
Santos has now revealed that the veteran striker has visited a specialist for a scan on his injury and has confirmed that he will not be available for Saturday’s trip to Brighton.
“We had a scan today. We are waiting for the results. He went to see a specialist for a scan. We are waiting for the information.”
