Salah has been directly involved in 41 goals in 27 matchdays this season (25 goals, 16 assists), helping the Reds to a commanding 11-point lead over second-placed Arsenal.

The 32-year-old’s prominence has led to a jibe at former Manchester United defender Ferdinand, who has questioned whether Salah is good enough to be the best Premier League player in England. 

Of course, how does Ferdy view his influence on the team? Thierry Henry at Arsenal or Cristiano Ronaldo at United are more prominent. 

“There’s no way Salah is going to be called the greatest Premier League player of all time,” Ferdinand said during Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Southampton on Tuesday. 

“He can never be better than Henry or Ronaldo.” 

In terms of individual performance, Salah has now surpassed those two in total goals scored, with 182, with Henry on 175 and Ronaldo on 103.

But in terms of the number of league titles, it is second only to ‘ Titi ‘ (2 times ) and ‘ CR 7’ (3 times ).
