New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Neighbors enjoyed a breakout season, scoring two touchdowns to lead the Giants to a 21-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns for their first win of the season, according to the New York Post.

Neighbors had eight catches for 78 yards and two touchdowns to help the Giants take a 21-7 lead at halftime before the Blues got their first win of the 2024 season with a 21-15 win over the Browns. 

“I had a lot of fun. It’s a dream come true,” Neighbors said after becoming the Giants’ first rookie wide receiver to catch two touchdowns in a game. 

Neighbors had two great catches, starting with a 28-yarder past Browns cornerback Martin Emerson along the sideline, and another with a 3-yarder who leapt up to get both feet in the end zone. 

“They were good catches, but I’ve had better catches,” Nebbers said. “I’m not surprised. It’s just the way I play. It’s just who I am.”

The Giants’ rookie wide receiver is also preparing for Thursday’s prime-time game against the Dallas Cowboys, calling it a “normal” game. “It’s just a normal game,” he said.
