Nketiah has been with Arsenal since his youth system, making 168 senior appearances in all competitions, scoring 38 goals and helping the team win the 2020 FA Cup.

However, the English striker has yet to establish himself as a regular in the Gunners’ team and was sold permanently in order to gain more playing time, with the Eagles agreeing a fee of £25m plus £5m in add-ons.

The 25-year-old becomes Palace’s fifth new signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Chadi Riad, Daiichi Kamada, Ismaila Sarr and, most recently, Maxence Lacroix, who arrived on deadline day. ( pgzen )
