nuno168 Max Crosby has ended his season early after the 27-year-old Las Vegas Raiders star underwent surgery to fix an ankle injury.

Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Max Crosby will miss the rest of the season after the 27-year-old posted on Instagram that he will undergo surgery on an ankle injury, NFL Network reports. nuno168

“While it hurts me to write this, I will not be playing for the rest of the season,” Crosby wrote in a statement. “This is my second time this year that I have sprained my ankle and will now have to undergo surgery. While it hurts me to not be able to join my brothers and sisters in the fight, I truly believe that everything happens for a reason. I have no regrets about the process, the way I played, and the discipline I had.” 

According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Crosby will see renowned foot and ankle specialist Dr. Robert Anderson and undergo surgery that will rule him out of the 2024 season four games early.

Crosby is due to make $28.2 million in 2025 but has no guaranteed money for next season, and the 27-year-old is confident he will be back in top form in 2025 after his recovery from surgery.

“I’m going to have this surgery (and) be on the warpath to greatness every day and be the best version of myself again,” Crosby wrote in the post. “I truly believe in my soul that I’m changing the game one shot at a time and changing the way I look at this position. If you don’t believe me, if you have doubts, if you think I need to take it easy, fine, but watch me.”
