    The 25-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the option to extend for a further 12 months.

    Mbeumo’s move comes seven weeks after Manchester United made a bid for the Cameroonian, ending one of the longest deals of the summer.

    United’s third offer, worth an initial £65m plus a further £6m in bonuses, was accepted last week.

    The winger is expected to be in the squad for Thursday’s pre-season tour of the United States.

    Mbeumo has scored 70 goals and provided 51 assists in 242 games for Brentford since joining from Troyes in 2019.

    The Cameroonian scored 20 goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League last season, both of which were record highs.
