Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutkunst confirmed the Packers have suspended Romeo Daubs for one game against the Los Angeles Rams after the 24-year-old wide receiver engaged in inappropriate behavior toward the team, NFL Network reported. ( thaisiambet )

Daubs did not practice with the team on Thursday and Friday for “personal reasons,” with the 24-year-old reportedly unhappy with his role on the Packers’ offense before head coach Matt LaFleur said it was a “personal reason,” and then Gutkunst confirmed the team had suspended the 24-year-old for one game due to misconduct.

Through the first four games of the 2024 season, Daubs has 12 catches (20 targets) for 169 yards and is expected to return for Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals. 

“Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to suspend Romeo for this week’s game,” Gatchunts said in a statement.

‘His decisions and actions throughout the week have had a negative impact on the team and have led us to take this action. While we are certainly disappointed, we believe we can move forward in a positive way. Romeo is a valuable member of our team and we look forward to welcoming him back next week.’
