Paris in contact with Uzbekistan defender Kusanov pgzen

According to Foot Mercato, Paris Saint-Germain football consultant Luis Campos has met with Kusanov’s representatives to inquire about the player’s details.

The French media outlet further revealed that Campos has been very impressed by the performance of the Uzbekistan international and sees the 20-year-old as one of the club’s new options for central defender.

Lens spent just €100,000 to sign Kusanov from FC Energetik in the Belarusian league, but Kusanov has now developed and is getting regular playing time. Lens are expected to  demand as much as €40m for Kusanov, a sum that would generate huge profits for the northern French club.

However, the report concludes that PSG value Kusanov at €20m and could make an offer to Lens soon. 

In the 2024/25 season, Kusanov played a total of 12 games in all competitions. ( pgzen )
