The 28-year-old star player was recently released on loan to West Ham United in January. And he admits he was hurt by Guardiola’s comments in the media.

His mother, Lindsay, stopped attending U.S. games. “The Blues” for a long time, with Phillips revealing that his mother was not happy at all with Guardiola’s comments.
