Player1688 New Philadelphia 76ers forward Paul George, who has been on the sidelines for a long time due to a knee injury, is finally ready to play against the Phoenix Suns on Monday as the visiting team. Player1688 

ESPN reports that George has missed the first five games of the season due to a bruise in his left knee in a friendly against the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 14. 

At the current 34-year-old player’s status, the chances of competing are 70:30. If he can practice shooting in the morning, he should be able to make his official debut. 

However, center Joel Embiid is waiting as he looks to slowly rehab his knee.  

George averaged 22.6 points, 3.5 assists and 5.2 rebounds last season for the LA Clippers. 

The nine-time All-Star signed a four-year, $212 million deal with Philadelphia last summer, hoping to help the team recover from a 1-4 start. 

After the Suns clash, the 76ers will travel on the West Coast to face the LA Clippers and LA Lakers on Wednesday and Friday, respectively.
