Denver’s star forward Jokic suffered a twisted ankle during the second quarter of a 111-110 home win over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday (local time). An MRI scan showed no fractures.  ( pgzen )

The 22-year-old is averaging 15.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. 

This creates a problem for head coach Michael Malone, who already lost starting frontcourt Paul Millsap, who underwent wrist surgery and will be out for at least three months. 

Mason Plumlee and Kenneth Faried are expected to take over as center and power forward, respectively.
