Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, 25, said he is feeling better and is set to return to practice this week after missing the last two games with a sprained ankle leading up to Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, NFL Network reports. pgzen
“I definitely feel better this week,” Taylor said. “The ankle is nothing new for me. I’ve been dealing with it a lot. I’m trying my best to get back in the game this week. You know, the upper ankle is always a tough problem to fix, especially when you’re playing a high-contact sport like this.”
‘But I’m confident that I’m up for the challenge. My coaching staff and I in Indianapolis are going to do everything we can to get back in the game this week and in the weeks to come.’
Through four games this season, Taylor has rushed for 349 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. That’s his best performance since 2021, when he led the league in rushing with 1,811 yards and 18 touchdowns, averaging 106.5 yards per game and averaging 5.5 yards per carry. ( pgzen )
