The organizers have announced the results of the draw and the schedule for the 2025 Doha Cup, which will be held from March 17-26, 2025. 

The football tournament will have a total of 6 countries participating in the competition, with every country sending a team of under 23 years old (born after 1 January 2003) to participate in the competition, including Thailand, Australia, Croatia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Qatar. 

In the competition format, each country will play a total of 3 matches and will be ranked based on points. In the case of a tie, the goals scored and fair play points will be considered.

This competition is part of the preparation of the Thailand U23 national team under the management of Takayuki Nishigaya for the AFC U23 Championship qualifiers in September 2025 and the men’s football in the SEA Games, which Thailand will host in December 2025.
