Former first-round draft pick Kenny Pickett said moving from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia was a positive move after the Steelers traded the 26-year-old from the Eagles for a draft pick this offseason, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported. zbet911

Pickett is part of a series of changes to the Steelers’ quarterback room this offseason, with the former 2022 first-round draft pick leaving Pittsburgh along with Mason Rudolph and Mitchell Trubisky, adding Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, but the 26-year-old insists it’s a positive change.  ( zbet911  )

zbet911s “Change is good,” Pickett told Ben Eastwan of The Philadelphia Inquirer. “I’m going through it now. I’ve been in Pittsburgh for seven years, and now I’m in Philadelphia. I think a lot of people have a negative view of change, but that’s really just your attitude. I think if you have a positive attitude, things will work out.” zbet911s

Pickett spent five years at the University of Pittsburgh before spending two seasons with the Steelers, but he struggled on the Steelers’ offense, throwing 13 touchdowns and 13 interceptions in 25 games.  ( zbet911s )

The Steelers signed Wilson to a one-year deal, a move that Pickett didn’t respond to much to, before he was sent to Philadelphia, where he said he wasn’t bothered by those questioning his competitiveness.

“There are enough skeptics in the world,” Pickett said. “There are a lot of skeptics. That might be the majority in the media, the fan base, but coaches, family members. If you change your mind and try to prove them right and what they believe in you, you’ll have a much more positive attitude.”
