player1688 Devontae Adams is happy to be traded to the New York Jets to play with Aaron Rodgers again.

Devontae Adams, 31, said he is happy after being traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets and is set to make his debut with Gang Green at the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, NFL Network reports. player1688

“It’s definitely been a roller coaster. It’s weird to say I’m happy, but obviously it’s time for a change,” Adams said. “It’s all been a little weird, but at the end of the day, we’re in a better place. I think the Raiders are in a better place, too. Everybody can move on.”

Adams filed a trade out of Las Vegas on Oct. 1. He missed the last three games with a hamstring injury before being traded to the Jets for draft picks, where he will play alongside Aaron Rodgers again, having previously teamed with the Green Bay Packers from 2014-2021.

“Basically, yeah,” Adams said of his reasoning for moving to the Jets. “I mean, that’s where it all started. All the fans that were involved with the Raiders saw everything, saw the trade demand, and they thought he wanted to leave. He was going to leave.”

‘While it’s about feeling like I can, I don’t want to feel powerless, feeling like I’m on the field. Not every game is going to be a 100-yard game or a 150-yard game or a 200-yard game, but I want to feel like I can impact the game every time I get on the field. So just having the confidence that I can produce and change the game if I need to, rather than going out on the field and feeling like we need too many things for me to be successful.’

“It’s great to be back with my ex,” Adams said of playing with Rodgers again. “First of all, spending time with him every day again is something I really value. Being with him, but certainly having him back as my quarterback again.”
