pony88 Sacramento Kings guard Buddy Hield has expressed his unwavering confidence that he is ready to mortgage his house to bet that his team will make the playoffs this season, ending a long wait that began in 2006. pony88

The Kings just played last Thursday against the Golden State Warriors and almost won, but lost to the veterans at the end of the game by a score of 123-125. Their performance dropped to 30-28, ranked ninth in the West, just 1.5 games behind the last playoff quota.  ( pony88 )

Several developments this season, including the addition of NBA champion forward Harrison Barnes, have led Hield to boast that the Kings will be among the playoff teams after an 82-game regular season. 

“I dare to sell my house and bet on it because I am confident that in the future I will be able to make a big profit and buy a new house,” the young fullback told ESPN.

“How can we bet on a dog? I’m sure of that. If I didn’t say that, the press would have veered off and said, ‘Hold fears he’ll miss the playoffs.’ So I took a stand.” 

“Let me say this first: I believe in God. I hope he will be merciful to our team as well.” 

The 26-year-old backcourt is averaging a career-best 20.5 points per game, leading the team in scoring, while also making 44.9% of his 3-point attempts in the league.
