Football Insider has revealed that the 19-year-old is unlikely to make the step up to the first team.
The situation comes amid interest from Everton and it is believed the Reds would have no problem selling the Scotland international if the Toffees are willing to pay the right price.
The outlet reported earlier this month that Liverpool were looking to sell Doak for £30m this summer after rejecting a £15m bid from Crystal Palace in January.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth have also been linked with a move for the Scotland winger and could be prepared to battle Everton for his signature.
The Toffees’ interest comes after Football Insider reported that David Moyes is keen to add more attacking options to his squad.
Football Insider claims Doak has no future at Liverpool and would accept a reasonable offer after his loan spell at Middlesbrough ends.
