Raul has been coach of Madrid Castilla since 2019, but Marca now report that the former Spain international will step down from his role at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Spanish media report that Raul will make way for Alvaro Arbeloa to take over, with the 47-year-old former goal-scoring forward remaining at Real Madrid, although his future role will depend on discussions with the club.

Raul helped Madrid Castilla avoid relegation last season and currently sits 18th in the Primera Federación Group 2. 

Marca added that Raul could be part of Carlo Ancelotti’s team, but that is still a matter that needs to be considered by all parties. ( sunlit1688 )
