Aaron Rodgers, 40, was speechless but clearly frustrated after the New York Jets lost 6-31 to the Arizona Cardinals, the biggest loss of the season for Gang Green, ESPN reported.

Rodgers completed 22 of 35 passes for 151 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions, scoring just six points on two Spencer Schrader field goals in the first two quarters as the 40-year-old quarterback posted a 3-7 record for the first time in his 20-year career. 

“There’s definitely a lot of emotion this year,” Rodgers said. When asked for more details, the veteran quarterback said, “I won’t answer that.”

‘There are a lot of emotions involved. That’s a vague answer, but it’s not the time or place to talk about it right now. But at some point, I’ll give a better answer.’

Rodgers once thought the Jets had what it took to challenge for the Super Bowl, but now the Greens are looking to make their 14th consecutive playoff appearance, even after trading wide receiver Devontae Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders and failing to turn things around.

The 40-year-old quarterback was noticeably hesitant to make long throws, with Rodgers attempting at least two 20-yard passes, both times unsuccessful.

‘We had a lot of chances,’ Rodgers said. ‘I missed a couple of them. I don’t think we handled the noise and the empty pressure that they did very well.'( 123over )
