However, the Argentine goalkeeper was unveiled as Marseille’s new player on Sunday, the southern French club confirmed.

Although the club’s statement did not specify a specific period of employment, major media outlet Fabrizio Romano revealed that Ruyi has signed a contract until mid-2027. 

He is the latest new player to be brought in by OM ahead of the new season, which begins next week, with Marseille continuing talks with Ajax before finally reaching an agreement.

After this, Ruy will prepare to train with the team in preparation for the opening match of Ligue 1, when OM is scheduled to travel to Brest next Saturday.
