Napoli have spent much of this summer trying to find a way to sign Osimhen, who has a release clause of around €130m.

Reports earlier this summer suggested the player was keen on a move to Paris Saint-Germain, but PSG have yet to make a real offer for the Nigerian, with the 25-year-old hesitating to let Napoli accept Al Ahly’s €70m offer.

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that PSG are still keeping tabs on him, but Chelsea are keen to beat Paris to the signing of Osimhen.

While no specific figure has been given, Di Marzio suggests Chelsea are ready to make their first official bid to Napoli for the 2022-23 Serie A champions striker.

He finished the 2022-23 season as Serie A’s top scorer and played a key role in helping the team win its first league title in over 30 years. ( vox888 )
