Sqgame555 Former Rockets boss Silas joins Williams’ right-hand man at Pistons

Sqgame555 Former Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas has agreed to become the top assistant coach to Monty Williams. Sqgame555

ESPN reports that Silas, who managed Houston for three years, was unsuccessful, posting a 59-177 record and never having won more than 22 games in a single season. Even though it was a newly built team, it was too ugly to handle, so he was fired at the end of the 2022-23 season. 

Returning to the 49-year-old’s role as right-hand man seems appropriate, as he has been an assistant to the Mavericks, Hornets and Warriors since his coaching career in 2000. Sqgame555
