sqgame555 Kayvon Thibodeaux is looking forward to playing with Abdul Carter, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 rookie draft.
Former No. 5 overall pick in the 2022 draft, pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux, said he is excited to welcome No. 3 overall pick Abdul Carter to the team this season, according to NFL Network. sqgame555
“I think (Carter) is a great player. We can use him in a lot of different ways,” Thibodeau said. “I’m excited to see him come in and practice and (see) what we can get.”
The selection of Carter makes the pass rusher position even better with Thibodaux and Brian Burns, who were one of the best duos last season. Burns had 8.5 sacks and 66 QB pressures, while Thibodaux had 5.5 sacks and 42 QB pressures in 12 games.
Thibodaux expects all three to play together at some point. “I think it’s outside linebacker. They’re middle linebackers. If you look at my skill set, Brian’s skill set, Brian can rush inside. I can do that. But Brian’s probably better inside than me. I can rush inside. He can rush from deep. I can rush from deep at linebacker. Abdul, too.”
