    The England international has been with the Citizens since 2016 and has made 267 appearances in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing seven assists, while winning six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, two League Cups, the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.

    With his contract with the club expiring in June 2026, the 30-year-old is unlikely to find a place on the pitch this season, but he insists he wants to stay with the team for a long time.

    “From my perspective, this is a club I love and have been at for a long time and hopefully it will continue to be that way for a long time,” Stones told the club’s magazine.

    “My family are Man City fans, my kids, my family and City are a big part of our lives too, so I’m honoured to be part of the fabric of this great football club.” ( pgzen )
