sudpung168 Patrick Peterson, a wide receiver for the Arizona Cardinals, gave a completely different interview than last year, where he was eager to get traded away from the desert, but now he wants to commit to his future for the rest of his career.

Peterson played in Arizona for the eight years he entered the league, made the Pro Bowl, and was fed up with the team’s failures and wanted to advance elsewhere.  sudpung168

But when he failed a banned stimulant test and was banned without pay for the first 6 games of the 2019 season, he changed his attitude and sweetly asked to be the Cardinals until he retired. 

“I’d love to play for the Cardinals my whole life, but in the NFL, anything can happen in the next month, and this isn’t just football, this is something that happens everywhere,” the 29-year-old quarterback told SiriusXM NFL radio.

“So just do your best in the present. I want to leave my life to the Cardinals. I want to be one of the people who help the organization unlock its first championship.”   

“As for the part about wanting to ask for a trade last year because I was disappointed with the performance, I want to say that I love Arizona and really want to be here. But the timing of when it came out was too difficult to handle.” 

“But now I feel very happy, especially with the role I have been given in the team.” 

Peterson has two more seasons left on his contract, with the team set to make $11 million and $12 million, respectively. ( sudpung168 )
