Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has revealed that Dallas Goedert is still part of the Phillies roster, with questions over the 30-year-old’s future looming before this year’s draft, NFL Network reports.  sudpung168

Goedert is entering the final year of his contract, but the Eagles did not draft the wide receiver among their 10 picks, and Roseman revealed the 30-year-old will remain a part of Philly. 

“Dallas is a part of the team now,” Roseman said when asked if not selecting a wide receiver in this year’s draft changed anything. “Obviously, we’re moving forward. We’re going to continue to talk about things on this team, and there’s nothing more to it than that.”

Koedert’s future is in question as he is due $11.7 million with no guaranteed money remaining. He played in just 10 games last season due to injuries, a career low, catching 42 passes for 496 yards. 

“Dallas is a great player, a great player, a great guy,” Roseman said. “I don’t want to do anything public where we talk about anybody, but I have a lot of respect for him. I’ve been to two Super Bowls with him, and I would love to have him on this team, of course. You always love having Dallas on this team, but we’re not there right now. But I love Dallas Goedert.” ( sudpung168 )
