Beal’s career-high 51 points

Head coach Scott Brooks’ team came back strong despite playing two straight nights, relying on Beal’s excellent form, who shot 21 of 37 field goals, plus four free throws, for a career-high 51 points in his sixth year in the league. 

When combined with two props, Mike Scott, who scored 10 points, and Kelly Oubre Jr., who added 14 points, all ten players who started scored, the team was able to rally to a 106-92 victory at the end of four quarters.

While Portland had 30 points from Lillard and 15 from Yusuf Nergic, the team was inaccurate, making just 16 of 21 from the penalty spot. 

The win moved the Wiz to 13-11 and into seventh place in the East, while the Trail Blazers, 13-11, are sixth in the Western Conference.
